Kelly Louise Judd creates magical and macabre paintings, drawings, dolls, and jewelry inspired by Northern Renaissance art, Victorian and Edwardian children's book illustrations, fairy tales, ghost stories, costuming, abnormal psychology, and "the otherness of things." She lives in Kansas City, where she received her B.F.A. from the Kansas City Art Institute in 2002. Her work can be seen on her Swan Bones Theatre website, on her MySpace page, and on the Cabinodd website for international surrealist art. You'll also find new works and works–in–progress on the artist's blog, Feathers Converging.
