Water

These photographs look at the spirit of water and its unseen energy, as well as some of the mythic characters connected to the ocean in particular. I have chosen to use the human body as a channel for these energies, to create an icon that is familiar through which to have a more intimate experience of things normally unseen. At the root of every photo shoot is a meditation in which I lead the person I am working with into a state of communion with the place, its energy and colors. The resulting photographs are embodiments of prayer.
