(Watercolor. 23" x 30")

Soul Transports Hey O the wee ones are near! Hold on to your hats and utter the names of your most beloved. The old ones are calling! Release the lock on your molecules You may be whisked away to sleep for one hundred years It may take a kiss or a charm to wake you Perhaps you've gone to the land of enchantment or beyond the beyond the beyond. The angels are beckoning! Grasp the silver cord and remember, remember old Mother Earth. Why did you follow the pipes? Why did you gaze in the fire? Why did you turn around? Look on the walls inside your head Read the strange script Try to speak your own name Call to the fire to the water to the air to the earth Ask to go home Promise all the right promises and come back to us, please. -- Erica Swadley
